San Antonio Halloween Events

It’s the season of ghost, goblins, and zombies in San Antonio! If you have several costumes and can’t decide on one, buy all of them since you will have plenty of Halloween events in San Antonio to choose from. If you’re looking for a party, you will have multiple options. If you’re interested in more unique and healthy Halloween events, this city has it all.

Zombie Apocalypse Murder Mystery and Halloween Party

If you love zombies and the Walking Dead, make sure to put this on your calendar. Get a taste of what a zombie apocalypse will be like without really getting bitten. At this Halloween event, you get to decide if you’re a Zombie or a Survivor . Those who want to be a Zombie can take advantage of their make-up artist so you look especially gruesome.

Don’t want to actually participate but want to watch the world fall apart? Sit back with a few drinks and catered cuisine from Arugula Catering. The Murder Mystery will take about an hour and will be followed with dancing and celebrating you’re alive!

When: November 1st at 7 pm

Where: The Historic Jackson Ranch at 8910 Callaghan Rd., San Antonio, TX 78230

How to Join: email sutapants@gmail.com ASAP. Let them know if you want to be a Zombie or Survivor and they’ll email you with instructions. You have until October 7th to opt-in.

Cost: This is not for profit but there are fees for venue rental, decorations, food, DJ, and incidentals.

Haunted House Halloween Party

The Hangar is hosting A Night of Wicked Fun at their 4th annual Halloween party. They’ll have the bar decorated with black lights and monsters at every turn. Plus, there will be plenty of delicious poisons on special.

Don’t forget to arrive in your best Halloween costume. There will be a $475 Halloween Costume Contest at 10 pm with cash prizes awarded to those who come in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.

Halloween Hustle 1k and 5k Race

Want to earn that Halloween candy? Join the Halloween Hustle 1k for kids or 5k for adults. Race through Hollywood Park and go for one of the two awards in each age division.

When: Saturday, October 18th and 7 am

Where: St. Thomas Episcopal School at 1416 N. Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232

Cost: Pre-register for $10 for kids and $25 for adults. Registration on-day of event is $25 for kids and $30 for adults. Optional t-shirts available for additional $15.

Schedule:

  • Registration 7 am to 7:30 am
  • Kids costume contest at 9 am
  • Awards ceremony following costume contest

Nightmare at DanceArt

Looking for a place to dance? DanceArt San Antonio is hosting a two hour dancing event.

When: Friday, October 31st from 8 pm to 10 pm

Where: DanceArt Ballroom Studio at 434 N. Texas 1604 Loop W, San Antonio, TX 78232

Cost: $12 for online registration, $15 for at the door

Conroy’s Halloween Party

Drink the night away this Halloween at Conroy’s Halloween Party. Come in your best Halloween costume and compete in their $150 Halloween contest.

When: Friday, October 31st from 8 pm to 2 am

Where: Conroy’s Irish Pub at 9091 Fair Oaks Pkwy., Fair Oaks Ranch, TX 78015
