2014 Street Party Info

It’s that time of year again and that means it’s time for the Dallas Halloween Block Party 2014! If you don’t have plans the Saturday before Halloween, you do now. With over 150,000 people expected to attend you are sure to see lots of different costumes and meet all sorts of people.

This year’s Halloween Block Party is going to be on Saturday, October 25th from 7 pm to 2 am. Don’t arrive too late, especially if you plan to drive and park, because admittance may be cut off when it gets crowded.

The largest outdoor party in Texas will be at the 3900 block of Cedar Springs in Dallas. The Cedar Springs Strip will be closed for the event and it will be fenced in to keep the crowd under control.

If socializing with others over a cold beer doesn’t sound fun, perhaps the other events at the Dallas Block Party will persuade you to come.

The Dallas Halloween Block Party will have:

  • A Costume Promenade with live commentary from Edna Jean Robinson
  • Live DJ and a featured Rose Room performance in the black lot.
  • Beer booths at every turn.

Good to Know

  • Admission to the Dallas Block Party is free
  • Money will be needed to buy beer, food, and other refreshments
  • Personal liquor and coolers are not permitted
  • Personal bags may be screened
  • All ages are welcome but beer sales are limited to those 21 and up

Bars and Clubs on Cedar Springs

There will be plenty to see and do outside at the block party, but you will also find bars open that night offering awesome drink prices. Crowds will be lighter earlier in the night but they are sure to be crazy fun as the night goes on.

  • JR’s Bar & Grill: Saturday drink specials are $4.50 well drinks and $4.50 domestic longnecks but check to see what extra special prices they have on the night of the Dallas block party.
  • The Round-Up Saloon: Enjoy Howdy Hour in the heart of the block party, especially with $1 jello shots.
  • Sue Ellen’s: With four patios, pool in the game room, a main floor for dancing, and a place to chill in the Lipstick Lounge you are sure to enjoy drink specials on beer and wells.
