Turn Your Pasadena Home Into a Haunted House

Haunted house ideas don’t have to be difficult if you want to make your home look like it’s ready for Halloween. It just takes a little time and creativity to see how things can work with your house.

There are tons of things at stores you can buy or even easy Halloween decorations you can make yourself. Spirit Halloween is a Halloween store that is open in the month of October that will have everything you need to transform your home into a haunted house. Some quick suggestions you can use to decorate the outside of your home include:

  • Hanging ghosts
  • Styrofoam or resin tombstones
  • Orange flashing lights
  • Fake spider webs
  • Mummy hands
  • Strobe lights
  • Fog machines
  • Skull and bones

All of these ideas are available in stores and only require you to put them out where you want them. Most of them you can make at home if you buy Styrofoam and the right colored paint you want.

Consider putting crime scene tape across your windows and doors, creating a cemetery in your yard, or having lawn zombies appear to be popping out of your lawn. All of these things will make your home look completely different and will attract trick-or-treaters to your door on Halloween night.
