Fake spiderweb and bats outside house

Get Inspired for an Awesome Mesquite Halloween

Halloween continues to get bigger each year. You can see more merchandise in stores, better costumes, and more homes putting up Halloween decorations. Mesquite Halloween decorations are a fun way to show others you love a reason to have fun and entice trick-or-treaters into coming to your door so you can see what this year’s hot costumes are.

Since Mesquite is close to Dallas, you can find Dallas Halloween events to go to, including the Dallas Halloween Block Party that happens every year.

If you have children, consider going to the Mesquite North Branch Library at 2600 Oates Drive on October 31st from 4 pm to 5 pm for a children’s costume party.

Outdoor Mesquite Halloween Decorations

The best way to tell your neighbors you like Halloween is by showing them! Use outdoor Halloween decorations that are found in a variety of stores this time of year to get the look you want.

  • How about a cemetery in your front yard? There are Styrofoam and resin tombstones available in stores like Spirit Halloween, Target, and Walmart for as little as $5.  Set them out in your yard using wire stakes or by burying them an inch or two in your flower bed. Have fake spiderwebs on the surface, as well as creepy spiders.
  • Go a step further with the cemetery theme and have lawn zombies popping out of the grave sites. At the very least, you can have a skull and bones poking out of the ground to scare those driving or walking by.
  • Make your home into a haunted house by having hanging ghosts in the trees, fog machines on your porch, shadows in the windows, and cobwebs across your windows and doors.

The possibilities are endless with how to decorate your home for Halloween in Mesquite. Simply go to a store and get inspired by the merchandise they have.
