Halloween Events in Grand Prairie for Kids and Adults

Find Halloween events in Grand Prairie for both children and adults. The closer we get to Halloween, the more Halloween events there will be. Don’t assume that haunted houses are the only type of fun you can have for Halloween. Grand Prairie has a lot of options from concerts to shopping with a Halloween theme.

Halloween Events in Grand Prairie for Adults

On Saturday, October 26th at 7:30 Paramore Halloween 2013 is taking place at Verizon Theater. Paramore, Metric, and Hellogoodbye will be performing. The venue address is 1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie. Ticket prices range from $39.50 to $48.50.

Halloween Casino Night at UT Arlington will be on Thursday, October 24th from 8 pm to 12 am. The event is free and will have casino games, music, and treats. It will be located on campus at the Bluebonnet Ballroom in the University Center. Students can celebrate Halloween in a safe environment with a costume contest, food, and drinks.

Terror at the Uptown will be at the Uptown Theater at 120 East Main Street in Grand Prairie on October 31st from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm. They will have old-fashioned scares for $5 per person.

Halloween Events in Grand Prairie for Children

Children, especially those that are too young for some of the frightening Halloween-themed events, can find kid-friendly Halloween events in Grand Prairie. Look at your neighborhood, church, and stores to see if they are hosting a Halloween event this year.

Traders Village, located at 2602 Mayfield Road in Grand Prairie, is hosting the Haunted Hallway on Sunday, October 27th. Doors open at 8 am and will stay open until about 6:30 am. Parking costs $3 and you can have pictures taken in a pumpkin patch for $5. There will be a haunted house and lots of candy handed out to the kids. This event is the largest free event for kids in the DFW area.

Bark N’ the Dark is the DFW Rescue Me’s Halloween event at 5922 Cedar Springs in Dallas on October 26th from 5 pm to 8pm. There will be food trucks, trunk or treat, a costume contest, games, and adoptable dogs. Enjoy a zombie cake walk, pumpkin decorating, and Halloween goodies you can purchase. Tickets for adults cost $10. Children 12 and under are free.

Grand Prairie’s Ripley’s Believe It or Not museum has a seven day event called Nightmare at the Wax Museum. The remaining dates for this is October 25th, 26th, and 31st. Tickets prices range from $16.99 to $24.99 for adults and $8.99 to $17.99 depending on the number of attractions you choose to do.
