Samurai Cinema is a FREE Dallas Halloween event created to celebrate samurai art through films expressing themes and motifs related to samurai life and culture. MOVIE PREVIEW: The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection will be giving a special cocktail tour from 6-7pm as a preview to the movie. Dallas Halloween Block Party
The Dallas Halloween Block Party is the biggest Halloween party in Dallas. Last year, over 150,000 people from all over Texas attended. The 3900 block of Cedar Springs is blocked off to give pedestrians more room to travel from bar to bar. The Dallas Halloween Block Party starts at 7pm. Make sure to get there early if you’re driving, or take a cab from your house.
Halloween Hunt for Haiti
One of the many Dallas Halloween events is the Halloween Hunt for Haiti on Saturday, October 12th at 3:30 pm. This is a high-energy scavenger hunt that takes place in downtown Dallas that will benefit the Bodarie School in Haiti. Start the hunt at 1722 Routh St. in Dallas but who knows where you end up as you go through the hunt. Dress up in costume and you will see people doing wacky stunts, taking pictures, running around, and having a great time.
One More Time Halloween Bash
Want to know about other Dallas Halloween events? One More Time is a Halloween Bash at the Lizard Lounge in Dallas on Saturday, October 26th at 9 pm. You can dance the night away with a special live performance from a Daft Punk tribute band, as well as various DJ’s and video bar. You will need your ID to get in and remember you always have more fun in costume.
Halloween War – Biggest Costume Party Ever
Want to see some outrageous and creative Halloween costumes? Go to the Halloween War with its Biggest Costume Party Ever. It takes place Saturday, October 26th at 10 pm to 2 pm at the Zouk Night Club. Ladies must be 18 years old and men must be 21. There will be various music played from the top 40, hip hop, old school, and dance.
This is a costume party, so there is a costume dress code that night. Participate in the largest costume contest in several categories:

Dragon’s Halloween Ball
Possibly one of the best Dallas Halloween Events is the Dragon’s Halloween Bar at the W Hotel. This is the 14th year for this event and this year’s theme is Saints and Sinners. It takes place Saturday, October 26th at 9 pm.
You can go to this Halloween event in Dallas in your best costume and/or body art as whoever you want to be. There are two themed floors and a great costume contest with a cash prize between $500 and $1000. The net proceeds from ticket sales will be distributed to three charities.
There will be a lot going on this night, with acrobatics, hip hop performances, contortionists, beautiful body art, and the top DJ’s in the area.
